About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, resilient, and emotionally intelligent individuals to join a specialist community support team assisting a woman living independently with an acquired brain injury.

This is not a traditional domiciliary care role. The position involves working closely with one client within her own home and community, supporting independence, emotional wellbeing, daily living, and social engagement within a highly personalised support package.

The role requires patience, consistency, professionalism, and the ability to work confidently within a complex relational environment. Applicants should be comfortable supporting an individual who can at times present with behaviours that are challenging.

Successful candidates will become part of a small, specialist team focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes dignity, autonomy, and long-term stability.

Main Duties

  • Supporting with daily routines and independent living
    • Assisting with emotional regulation and wellbeing
    • Building positive, professional therapeutic relationships
    • Supporting access to the community and activities
    • Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns
    • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals and family members
    • Responding calmly and professionally in challenging situations
    • Promoting safety, structure, consistency, and independence
    • Personal care support where required

About You

Experience in care is welcomed but not essential. We value attitude, maturity, and emotional intelligence as highly as previous experience.
