About the Role

We are developing a specialist support team for a client with an acquired brain injury living within the community who requires a highly consistent, psychologically informed approach to support.

This role is suited to individuals with strong emotional resilience who are confident working within complex behavioural and interpersonal environments.

The successful candidate will support the individual to maintain independence and quality of life while helping to reduce distress, conflict, and instability through calm, professional, and consistent approaches.

This is a specialist position requiring emotional intelligence, professional boundaries, reflective practice, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency environment.

  • Delivering person-centred support within the home and community
    • Supporting emotional regulation and behavioural stability
    • Responding appropriately to behaviours that challenge
    • Maintaining consistency of approach across the team
    • Using de-escalation and low-arousal communication techniques
    • Supporting independence and daily living
    • Accurate recording and professional communication
